With all the high tops available today, there’s more than enough to go around on the courts. But while you might associate high tops with basketball, you’ll quickly realize that the ball has been passed on to the high street.
Enter NYC illustrator Sophia Chang who has taken on PUMA’s silhouettes with a vengeance in this collaboration themed “Brooklynite”. The result? Spectacular. One of the collections biggest hits is Chang’s interpretation of the classic PUMA Basket Mid in two stark colourways based in either black leather or white nubuck with images of the Brooklyn Bridge scrawled across it moving from ankle to toe.
