Nineties nostalgia is back. This winter “Grunge” is reinvented featuring key items such as leather biker jackets, parkas, checked shirts, skinny jeans, oversized knitwear, plateau sneakers and military boots. But it’s not the dirty grunge of the nineties – the look is sharper and more sophisticated. So NO – you can’t crawl out of bed and pull on the same clobber lying crumpled on the floor that you wore yesterday and think you’re trendy. Neither is “Neo Grunge” forgiving of begrimed and bedraggled hairstyles. The look to go for is slick and stylish.
