Bruce Brown’s iconic surf film, The Endless Summer, tags along with two Californian surfers, Robert August and Tom Hynson, as they chase around the globe in search of the perfect wave, including our very own Cape St. Francis, which went on to become one of the world’s most famous surfing sites thanks to this film. Narrated by the witty Brown – this fun filled 1966 documentary practically invented the concept of international destination surfing. Mike and Dan are definitely more dapper than today’s beach bums – sporting trim trunks and even travelling in sharply tailored suits and ties. Up your beach style ante with these pieces.
