As the seasons turn we imagine, like us, you’ve started introducing knitwear into your wardrobe. The easiest jersey to use for layering is the cardigan. It’s available this winter in a mind-boggling array of patterns, from Nordic to Fair Isle and a multitude of plains in between. Thanks to it’s V-shaped neck it flatters every physique.
At work, substitute a double-breasted cardigan in a dark color for a blaser. On your free time, have fun playing around with different combinations of cardigans, T-shirts and button-downs.
The button rule – we suggest leave the bottom button on your cardigan undone…it looks better and it seems to resist the bottom edge of the cardigan’s inclination to ride up one’s waist.
