Meet Mias van der Westhuyzen. At 24 his smouldering good looks and washboard abs have seen him recently bag an international fragrance campaign – sorry we can’t let you know which one just yet but it’s BIG – very big! He has also rubbed shoulders – and shared the runway – with Tyson Beckford at the David Tlale show at New York Fashion Week.

So when I first got to meet him I kind of anticipated an ego to match – wrong! Mias van der Westhuyzen is remarkably down to earth – so much so that we invited him to model our recent PUMA Tennis feature and we were definitely NOT disappointed. Thanks Mias – you are a star in the making!

Favourite movie line?

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.  – Coach Carter
