The original ICON may be a little over one year old but that hasn’t stopped Dunhill from creating a series of variations. Elite, the third incarnation of ICON, is a spicy, woody concoction featuring vetiver, cardamom, sandalwood and, unusually, ebony. There’s also some orange blossom and juniper berry in there somewhere, which adds a pleasant sweetness.
Dunhill ICON Elite’s appeal lies in the fact that it is deep and rich but reserved at the same time; it has none of the heavy handedness that you might expect from an “evening” scent.
